Australian studio Barrel Smashhas released a free demo of its upcoming strategic survival game with tower defense elements Riftbound… In it, the developers show the basic principles and capabilities of the future game.
Riftbound’s gameplay resembles Plants vs. Zombies: We summon elemental spirits and deploy them in strategic locations to repel the advancing armies of the undead. This will have to be done at more than fifty levels of the Enchanted Forest, which are becoming more and more difficult.
Players are waiting for more than forty spells, and dozens of improvements, which will help to cope with new tasks. As you progress through, more and more spirits, combinations and development options will appear, allowing you to change or develop your strategy.
Riftbound goes out in Steam in the first quarter of 2023. The game supports Russian.
