Devolver digital and developers from Massive monster announced a new roguelike called Cult of the lamb – the release will take place in 2023.
The game is made in a deceptively bright and charming style, which hides dark and twisted themes. We have to play as an obsessed lamb who was saved from destruction by a sinister stranger. Now the lamb will have to pay the debt to the savior by creating a sect and recruiting loyal followers.
The vast, randomly generated world of the game is filled with hordes of enemies with whom we have to fight, and useful resources that will be needed to erect new buildings. In addition, the lamb will be able to perform dark rituals to appease the gods and preach sermons to strengthen the faith.
There is no release date for Cult of the Lamb yet, but it is already known for sure that the roguelike will be released on PC.
