A cheater with 80 bans in Rainbow Six Siege is suspected of a false hostage taking in the Ubisoft office

It was the Frenchman Yanni Uahiun under the nickname Y4nn0XX, who was banned more than 80 (!) Times in Rainbow six siege for using cheats. Moreover, the government has already accused him of creating a fake Ubisoft site to steal other players’ accounts.

However, this is not all. In 2017, he, apparently, organized a matchmaking – misled the police, because of which the assault squad went to the house of the virtual enemy Uahiuna. Potentially, there could be much more such cases with him.

Fake calls to the Ubisoft office occurred twice more after November – December 18 and January 6. All this cost the publisher dearly: for example, the November incident alone cost the company about $ 1.75 million: most of it came from “lost productivity,” but also psychologists and material damage.

Uahiun himself denies everything: “I didn’t do any of this – I just cheated in their game. I only called Ubisoft once to insult them for my ban in Rainbow Six Siege.“.

The cheater also claims that now he does not even have a computer – only old phones. But in the middle of interviews with reporters, he asked them to transfer Ubisoft to unban him. And then he spent about 135 thousand rubles (1,500 euros) on cosmetics in the game.
