BioWare released the first major update for Mass Effect Legendary Edition, with which it became possible to combine English voice acting with other languages - for example, with the Russian text of the first part. Many people have asked for this.
However, claims to the translation will still remain, because the first part has two localizations at once:
- original – much closer to the original
- The “gold edition” – with a lot of gag.
It is the latter that remains part of the legendary edition, while the original is available only by the owner of the original on disk for PC.
But being able to choose the voice acting isn’t everything. Among the important changes, it is worth noting:
- improved performance
- fixed errors with counting achievements and trophies
- fixed a number of bugs on PC
- in ME1, the animation of the eyes of the Shepard-man has been improved
- when transferring saves to ME2, the number of credits was reduced to 100 thousand
- in ME3, a number of bugs with the Citadel add-on have been fixed.
