Company Samsung gave a presentation today Galaxy Unpacked, during which it officially announced the next generation of its foldable smartphones, smartwatches and headphones. All important information from the event is collected below.
Galaxy Fold 3
Samsung’s flagship foldable device has a few new trumps up its sleeve, including support for the S Pen stylus, IPX8 water resistance and a sub-screen selfie camera tucked under the foldable main display. The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 processor, and the screen on the front panel now supports an adaptive frequency of 120 Hz.
In addition, the Fold 3 received an experimental add-on that will allow you to use any application in a multi-window mode, even if it has not been adapted by the developers for this. On the territory of Russia, the device will be available in black and green at prices from 159,990 rubles…
Galaxy Z Flip 3
Samsung also revealed the Z Flip 3 clamshell, which has the same processor and water resistance as the Z Fold 3, but will sell for a much lower price. 89,990 rubles… The manufacturer has increased the diagonal and functionality of the external screen compared to the previous version, and also raised the frequency of the main display from 60 to 120 Hz.
Another difference is the rich palette of colors: beige, black, green, lavender, as well as gray white and pink exclusive to ordering through the Samsung website.
Galaxy Watch 4
Samsung smart watches have been radically updated and received two modifications at once: Galaxy Watch 4 (from 19,990 rubles) and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic (from 27,490 rubles). Both versions feature a new Exynos processor, but more importantly, it’s the long-promised new operating system co-developed by Samsung and Google, combining Wear OS and Tizen.
Wearables have also gained a host of health-related features, including sleep tracking, and if you were worried that a revamped OS and a redesign of the Galaxy Watch 4 would lose one of the key features of the previous watch, don’t worry. The classic Watch 4 still features the rotating bezel that has been the basis of this product for many years.
Galaxy Buds 2
Together with smartphones and watches, the Korean manufacturer presented the second generation of its wireless headphones. They will be available in black, white, olive and purple colors for the price 10,990 rubles…
The company also says the Galaxy Buds 2 feature active noise cancellation and are the lightest in their lineup.
