From PS Store some demo pages disappeared after users noticed a new glitch in the system.
The essence of the bug was that if available PS Plus on the Playstation 4 download a demo of the game, which is included in the PS Plus Collection, then in a few manipulations it was possible to get its full version for free…
The loophole was originally discovered in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard… To get a horror, you had to download a playable teaser, then start and press the purchase button for the full game through the menu. Then, in the store itself, when placing an order, it was necessary to select the second version from the bottom – in this case, on the confirmation page, the amount became equal to zero. Judging by the reports, users managed to download the same trick for free The last guardian (via VR demo), Detroit: Become Human, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (via The Nathan Drake Collection demo) and other games.
However, today, when checking this scheme, the players could not find demos of a number of the listed projects, including those of Resident Evil 7, The Last Guardian VR and Detroit: Become Human. They disappeared from the store on the console, and when searching through Google, the pages give an error…
Presently Sony publicly did not admit the existence of a hole in PlayStation Storebut appears to have partially taken action, albeit with extreme measures. Perhaps the demos will be returned soon.
It is also not clear what will happen to the games that have already been downloaded due to the bug. There is a chance that they will be recalled.
