According to the director, watching this film “on TV” can be compared to trying to “ride a boat in the bathroom”, and he finds such a decision simply “ridiculous”. Villeneuve believes that the picture is tailored for large screens.
In the past, the author has already opposed the decision Warner Bros. to release the project in theaters and on the HBO Max streaming service, however, the studio remained faithful to this plan.
