Fighting game authors Blazing strikeinspired by classic designs Capcom and SNK for arcade machines, presented the first gameplay trailer for the game, which, as the authors write, combines classic elements and modern mechanics.
Characters will traditionally both use different attacks, trying to implement combos, and defend themselves from the blows of opponents. At the same time, the developers have implemented three modes: story, arcade and “versus” with battles over the network or against AI.
In the video itself, some characters were also shown (of which, apparently, there will be 14 in total):
- Lei Long – the last Shaolin monk;
- Alexander is a wrestling legend;
- Ryohei – one-eyed assassin;
- Mochizuki is a ghost ninja;
- Hana is a ruthless oyabun (head of the yakuza clan).
Blazing Strike is slated to launch in Spring 2023 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Nintendo Switch and PC.
