Big hit: Sales of bloody fighting game Mortal Kombat 11 revealed

WB Games announced that it has sold worldwide over 12 million copies Mortal kombat 11… The latest version of the bloody fighting game to date was presented more than two years ago, and this year its support was discontinued.

The following year, the franchise celebrates 30 years since the original game was released in 1992. It was followed by sequels, offshoots, three feature films, several cartoons and television series.

“Almost 30 years ago, when the first part of Mortal Kombat was released, I could not even dream that the project would result in a franchise, which today will have more than 73 million copies sold,” says creative director NetherRealm Studios Ed Boone… “We have some of the most loyal fans in the world and we appreciate the support they have given us over the years.”

Mortal Kombat 11 was released in April 2019, and by October 2023, the game has exceeded 8 million copies. The project is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, PC and Google Stadia.
