On the official site Playstation found a mention of the second revision PS5 with serial number CFI-1100B01 (for Japan). The new safety guide on the specs page states that the upcoming Digital Edition will weigh 3.6kg, making the new console 300g lighter than the current PS5 without a drive.
It is not yet clear what changes have taken place in the technical stuffing of the PS5 Digital Edition. Except for weight, all other characteristics remain the same.
Similar manuals for the new console model have also been presented at major Japanese retailers Nojima and GEO.
The latter indicates July 20, 2023 as the release date for the new PS5 Digital Edition, although such consoles did not arrive on store shelves in the country.
It is worth noting that in the same guide presented The images of the upcoming model’s accessories and the screws that secure the console stand have changed slightly for the new revision.
