As part of the session of answering questions from users of the site Reddit developers Far cry 6 confirmed that the game will not receive a built-in map editor, which first appeared in the second part.
The authors note that the decision to remove Arcade Mode was difficult for them, but its absence helped the team focus on the storyline campaign.
Other details:
- Wingsuit, grappling hook and finishing moves will return with new animations.
- The game will receive support for the DualSense controller.
- Far Cry 6 will be fully co-op, just like Far Cry 5.
- The authors promise a wide range of transport for movement by land, water and air. However, the roads and airspace control the dictator’s forces.
- The developers are working on post-release support for the game. Details will be shared soon.
- Wild animals can be hunted and used for trade.
In addition, in an interview with youtuber JorRaptor, the developers of Far Cry 6 said that after completing the campaign, players will have some kind of continuation so that the world does not seem empty, as it was in Far Cry 5. Also, players will have a new system that will allow them to recapture outposts after a certain moment.
Far Cry 6 will be released on October 7 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC.
