Epic Games is not a Japanese company, but Nintendo is associated with it through the use of the engine Unreal Engine and the release of the battle royale Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch… In addition to information on the yakuza, Nintendo’s trial documentation contains general information about the terms of Epic Games’ partnership with the platform holder. In particular, it confirms that Nintendo retains 30% of the revenue from all third-party games and microtransaction revenue.
