Company Rockstar games quietly updated the PC version Max payne 3 and L.A. Noire on Steam. Updates removed support for outdated 32-bit systems, but at the same time added all previously released DLCs to both games for free…
The following content is now free for Max Payne 3:
- Max Payne 3: Deathmatch Made in Heaven Pack
- Max Payne 3: Painful Memories Pack
- Max Payne 3: Hostage Negotiation Pack
- Max Payne 3: Local Justice Pack
- Max Payne 3: Silent Killer Loadout Pack
- Max Payne 3: Cemetery Map
- Max Payne 3: Special Edition Pack
- Max Payne 3: Deadly Force Burst
- Max Payne 3: Pill Bottle Item
- Max Payne 3: Classic Max Payne Character
In turn, L.A. Noire included the following DLCs:
- The broderick detective suit
- The sharpshooter detective suit
- The Badge Pursuit Challenge & Button Man Suit
- “The Naked City” Vice Case
- “A Slip of the Tongue” Traffic Case
- “Nicholson Electroplating” Arson Case
- “Reefer Madness” Vice Case
- “The Consul’s Car” Traffic Case
Interestingly, the release of the patches follows a global glitch that removed all Rockstar games from Steam for about half an hour last night. When the error was fixed, it also returned to the store Midnight club 2, withdrawn from sale back in 2018 due to expired licenses, but almost immediately the race was removed again. Apparently, the company did not plan to re-release the game.
