The history of the current CS: GO roster of Gambit Esports is not only very beautiful and interesting, but also quite indicative. Team success Dmitry sh1ro Sokolov – the result of the multiplication of smart management by hard work, but first things first.
First of all, looking at the latest results of Gambit Esports, I would like to take off my hat to the club’s management, who once believed in this roster. Perhaps for some it will be a revelation, but the trio of nafany, sh1ro and interz has been in a Russian organization for more than three years, and Ax1Le joined the team in June 2019. For a long time, this team performed under the tag Gambit youngsters as the second team of the club. In October 2023, after two and a half years in the shadows, the team had a chance to get rid of the “youthful” postscript in the name and become the main roster of Gambit Esports. I have no idea which fortune-teller the bosses of the organization went to, but they found the most suitable moment. In just six months after switching to the updated tag, the team won three tournaments and replenished their bank account with more than half a million dollars. In short, bravo, Gambit Esports!

The management makes the decisions, and the players bring the trophies, and, of course, they deserve the main praise. The current roster of Gambit Esports began to appear more or less actively at major tournaments in the summer of 2023, when he joined the team Abai HObbit Khasenov… Since that time, it seems that almost all tournaments, without exception, are held by the team from the bootcamp – at least judging by the players’ live cameras. This suggests that now the roster is completely focused on development and is ready to invest the maximum amount of energy into success. Spending most of the year at a bootcamp, apart from families and friends, is worth a lot, but, as time shows, these sacrifices have already begun to pay off.
It couldn’t be more perfect
The success story of Gambit Esports has not been without a bit of luck. Do not take my words wrong, but on some side the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic played into the hands of the roster, depriving the CS: GO scene of LAN tournaments. Thanks to this fact, the roster was able to focus time and energy on systematic training, instead of focusing on getting to offline events and playing an infinite number of qualifications. Gambit Esports had enough time at its disposal, as well as more convenient championship formats, due to which the team was able to regularly meet in official matches with the best teams in the world.
