The Eiyuden Chronicle quickly became famous for its successful campaign on Kickstarter… The creators of the game received the required amount of 512 thousand dollars in two hours. And at the time of the final, the task was completed by 895%.
The gameplay follows the classic formula: a “sprite” squad of six characters on a three-dimensional background. Unusualness is only in the number of available unique characters that you can take into your squad: there are more than a hundred of them, and the designers threaten not to stop there.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will be released on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch no earlier than fall 2023. The authors and the publisher have not yet announced the exact timing of the release of the game.
