A warning has appeared on the home page of the digital distribution service Steam. It says that due to changes in Russian legislation from the beginning of January 2023, direct funding to the Steam wallet may not be available for an indefinite period… Nevertheless, the following methods of payment for purchases on Steam will still be available to Russian users of the site: bank cards, PayPal, Yandex and Webmoney.
Valve recommends players who use payment terminals, Qiwi-wallet, Sberbank or mobile payments to replenish their wallet to replenish it before December 31, 2023.
The Steam New Year Sale is currently running through January 5th.
