First-person psychological thriller Martha is dead will be released on Playstation 5 and Playstation 4 in addition to the previously announced versions for Xbox Series, Xbox one and PC… The corresponding announcement was made by the publishing house Wired Productions and developers from the studio LKAby releasing a new trailer.
The plot of the game takes place in the rural outback of Italy, where the forces of the Allies and the Axis countries turn the country into a battleground.
“On the lake’s shore lies the body of a young woman. Martha. Drowned and desecrated. Her twin sister will have to cope with the consequences of murder and loss, while the horror of war is getting closer,” reads the synopsis.
“Now players have a next-generation console at their disposal and it’s really interesting to see Martha is Dead take shape on both the PlayStation and the Xbox family,” said Leo Zullo, managing director of Wired Productions. “The game continues to showcase the LKA brand identity with deep and layered storytelling. It has always been conceived as a multi-platform release that raises expectations of what an independent studio can achieve with next-generation facilities.”
Martha is Dead powered by Unreal Engine 4 and combines real locations, references to real historical events, superstition, folklore, as well as deep psychological experiences.
The project is scheduled for release in 2023 on consoles and in Steam…
