Delivery giant Amazon officially presented its cloud gaming service Luna… The platform will compete for existing solutions (Stadia and xCloud from Google and Microsoft, respectively) and will leverage the power of the Amazon Web Service infrastructure.
Running Luna will take place on PC, Mac, iOS and Fire TV, with support for Android devices coming at a later date… The platform will allow users to stream games at 4K / 60 FPS on multiple devices at once. The service will work through a browser, which will bypass the restrictions prescribed in the App Store.
Monthly subscription will cost 5.99 $… Immediately after launch, Luna will offer users a library of 100+ projects, as well as integration with video hosting Twitch and support for a special Amazon game controller. In the future, users will also be able to subscribe to various paid channels that will offer access to a library of additional games.
For example, a game channel Luna +included in the basic subscription will offer access to Resident evil 7, Control, Panzer dragoon, A Plague Tale: Innocence, The Surge 2, Yooka-Laylee and The Impossible Lair, Iconoclasts, GRID, ABZU and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons…
Amazon has already announced an add-on plan for Ubisoft. Subscribers of this channel on the day of release will have access to new games from the French publisher, including Assassins creed valhalla, Far cry 6 and Immortals Fenyx Rising…
Users of the service will be able to use keyboards and mice for games, game controllers with support for Bluetooth technology, or connect a proprietary Luna controller worth $ 49.99, which, according to the creators, will provide the lowest signal latency.
