Remedy announced that on 27 August at Steam full edition will be released Control subtitled Ultimate Edition… In addition to the base game, it will include two story additions and all content added by the developers after release.
On September 10, the Control Ultimate Edition is coming to the Epic Games Store, as well as to PS4 and Xbox One. Curiously, only buyers of the Ultimate Edition will be able to update the game to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X version for free – the owners of the original Control were lost.
Control was released on August 27, 2019 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. At the latter, the game became a temporary exclusive on the Epic Games Store.
The Control Ultimate Edition is slated to be released on discs for PS4 and Xbox One at the end of the year, while the digital version for PS5 and Xbox Series X will go on sale around the same time. The discs for the full edition of the game for the upcoming platforms will hit store shelves in early 2023.
