In Lost in Random, all twelve-year-olds of the country of Accident undergo a kind of initiation: they roll a magic cube. The result will determine their future fate and role: the higher the number, the better their fate.
The heroine of the game, Even (can be translated as “Even”), does not want to go through the ritual, as this will separate her from her sister. Then she gets acquainted with an unusual rational cube and with it goes to fight with the regime and in search of her sister.
The creators of the game promise a kind of mini-version The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. We will be able to travel the world, explore cities, communicate with almost any residents and receive assignments from them. And in a unique combat system there will be elements of tactics – but so far they are not talking about it.
The world itself is also built in the spirit of dice. It has six cities, and each “corresponds” to one of the faces. So, in the city of Two, all residents are two-faced, and their personalities change every day. And in the city Three three three are waging a civil war among themselves.
There will also be a development system in Lost in Random, thanks to which the Cube will receive new abilities. But they also don’t want to talk about them, so as not to spoil the surprise. In general, the game will be quite linear and will take 12-14 hours to complete.
Lost in Random will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch no earlier than 2023.
