More interesting is the situation with the PlayStation 4 Pro, which offers a choice of two settings. In the first case (“Resolution“) the values are fixed in the region of 1620-1800p (chess rendering is used), and the frame rate can sink up to 27 fps in tense moments.
In the second case (“Performance”) The resolution drops to 1080p, but you should not wait 60 frames per second. Instead, console owners can expect a stable 30 frames per second without the slightest drawdown.
Sucker Punch Productions clearly relied on peer experience Guerrilla gameswho provided almost the same choice in Horizon Zero Dawn. At the same time, the trump card of Ghost of Tsushima are very fast downloads, which sets the project apart from its competitors.
As for the visual range, it turned out to be very memorable, although the developers had to make certain compromises. The emphasis is on a system of particles and wind simulations: a lot of petals, leaves and flakes of ash constantly fly in the air, which makes the environment more lively.
The detail of the environment is also at altitude, however, in some places “cuts of corners” are visible in the form of soap textures (stones, earth and some objects).
Note that before the release the game managed to be patched to version 1.04, so the above data may already be irrelevant.
