Progimers in Rocket league Jame “Karma” Bickford was hit by lightning during a live broadcast, as a result of which she received minor burns to her hands. An unusual case is reported by the publication. Dexerto.
The controller for the electric discharge was the gamepad from Playstation 4, which became unusable after lightning hit it.
The sounds of the incident can be heard in the video.
“I’m fine,” the streamer assured the concerned audience a minute after the sudden electrical discharge. “It seems that lightning got into my house and passed through the controller into my hands,” she said through tears.
Broadcast viewers suggested taking a break in the chat and asking someone else to play the rest of the match. But despite the obvious pain, the girl through tears lasted another 15 minutes before ending the broadcast.
Later, Karma informed its subscribers that she was all right and she turned to the doctor. Her hands were burned, and the gamepad failed.
