In Windows 10 version 2004, some users have discovered unusual tray icon behavior. And, as it turned out, this is not an isolated case. And it happened, it seems, just after installing the last major update.
Note that the problem is manifested on devices where there is a touch screen. The main “culprit” is the driver of this device, which for some unknown reason crashes and issues incorrect commands.
At the moment Microsoft Did not acknowledge the error publicly and did not issue a fix. Because there are two main solutions so far: update the drivers to the latest version (provided that they are) or disable the touch screen.
Another option is the downgrade of the system, however, most likely, this will have to be done by completely reinstalling or rolling back to a previously created recovery point. If these options are not suitable, you can try turning off tablet mode. But this is only a temporary panacea.
