EA confirmed that the latter can only be obtained directly as part of the passage of the game, without any microtransactions. Cosmetics can be used to change the ship and its cabin. In addition, at their discretion, players will be able to change the appearance of the pilots.
Customization capabilities extend to new types of weapons, cases, engines and shields, which gamers will be able to get by increasing the rating (rank).
The events of the new game will unfold after the destruction of the second Death Star in the film “The Return of the Jedi“. Gamers will be offered to play for both the New Republic and the Empire. Along with “various original characters of the popular franchise” in small episodes of the project will light up “familiar faces of the Star Wars galaxy”.
Release date Star Wars: Squadrons expected October 2 this year for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Origin), Xbox One and PS4. A pre-order of the game is already available at a price of 2499 rubles. The version for personal computers from the start will support VR-mode.
