Troy showed the battle of Achilles and Hector – review

Sega released the first gameplay trailer of its future historical strategy Total War Saga: Troy. In it, the creators of the game showed a large-scale battle between the troops of Hector and Achilles.

The game Total War Saga: Troy takes place during the time of Ancient Greece, and the events shown in it are described in Homer’s poem “Iliad“. So far back centuries, not a single part has yet climbed Total war, and the realities of the game are largely based on myths and legends.

In this part of the saga of players waiting for a number of innovations. In particular, new types of terrain will appear in the game. The swamp slows the progress of heavily armed warriors, and areas with high grass allow entire armies to hide in ambush until a convenient moment.

Hector has a strong, powerful and large army. It is further enhanced by the Minotaur: a legendary unit that can cope with dozens of soldiers. Achilles also relies on speed, cunning, ambushes and attacks from the rear and flanks.

Total War: Troy arrives on PC August 13, and the first day after the release, it will be free in Epic Games Store. In the shop Steam the game will appear only in a year.
