Domestic gamers, who do not understand how the Japanese corporation is connected with what is happening in the United States and what does Russia have to do with it, have accepted the published message with hostility.

“As Alexander III said, there is no worse enemy for a Russian gamer than women, racial minorities and LGBT people,” jokingly answers another Sony’s appeal.
“And what are we here for?” Writes a disgruntled resident of Russia. “What does it mean for more important voices to be heard?” You want to say that black voices are more important for you? This is a racist slogan. Leave the Americans to solve their internal problems, you are a Japanese company. ”

The Sony event was supposed to be held on June 4 at 23:00 Moscow time. The company was preparing an hour-long broadcast, during which it planned to show the first games for the PlayStation 5, including from the starting line of the console.
When the broadcast will take place is currently unknown.
Opinions were divided on the postponement of the presentation on the American PlayStation page – many criticized the company, while others supported it. The greatest disappointment is expressed by residents of Europe and other regions. They urge Sony to think not only about the United States. Industry representatives like former Kotaku editor Jason Schreyer, who speaks for protesters, are participating in the discussion.
