Yennifer was born a hunchback, in her youth she ended up in the school of sorceresses in Arethusa, which is supervised by Tissay de Vrieux. She learned to control magic and became one of the most powerful sorceresses of her generation. At the end of the book saga, Yennifer lost her strength using a powerful healing spell on a seriously wounded witcher and, presumably, died of exhaustion.
