However, these pictures were not specially drawn by April 1. As the representatives of FDG Entertainment, the creators explained Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom They love Duck Tales and tried to get rights to produce a new game under license.
They put together a test project and showed it to the company. Disney, but could not get approval. As a result, developments were sent to a distant box. April 1, 2023 was an occasion to show several frames to the public.
“We tried hard while working on the application for Disney, but, unfortunately, they did not provide us with a license. It would be very disappointing to just bury these materials, so we decided to use them on April 1. Perhaps one day Disney will reconsider its position?” , the publisher said in a statement.
The developers thanked the fans for their warm reviews.
