At the same time, the same Playkey fears further deterioration of the economic situation in the country due to the coronavirus. The influx of users will continue for two to three months, but if stabilization does not occur, then there will be an outflow of solvent players.
“In a more favorable scenario, when the situation in the global economy stabilizes, the industry will survive a so-called hangover – a temporary decline in revenue and game activity, as is usually the case after big discounts,” the company says.
As for the growth in the consumption of Internet traffic, the large cities of Russia can boast of a developed network infrastructure. In addition, cloud gaming is still inferior in popularity to more traditional variations.
