Company Nvidia reports that the GTC 2023 event will not take place. If earlier it was planned to conduct it first in the format of online broadcasting, and then in the form of publishing press releases, now it is said about a complete cancellation.
According to company CEO Jensen Huang, this is not the right time to host the event. He noted that employees and partners of the chip maker, the media, event analysts, and customers around the world will be able to focus on staying safe.
The director general also promised a lot of new content from researchers and developers, although he did not specify what it was about. Most likely these are new video cards for gaming and professional areas.
Finally, according to Huang, NVIDIA employees are switched to remote mode, which should reduce the spread of coronavirus.
