A serious position, scientific research and adult children do not bother to watch the Chinese League of Legends until late, and discuss the end of Sneaky’s career over a morning cup of coffee. Vice-rector of Moscow State Regional University and Deputy Director of the Federal Institute for the Development of Education of the RANEPA told us about their passion for e-sports.
The eldest son of Evelina and Vitaly Aliyev – Faik Shorty Aliyev, a former Continental League commentator, now coaches the WLG Greek squad on League of Legends, and the youngest Emil pooh Aliev – plays in collectives from the CIS as a carry. During the 2016 League of Legends World Cup, Shorty explained e-sports to his parents in detail, and they liked it so much that now they not only follow the world leagues, but also found favorites among the players in LoL.
The senior Aliyevs play Hearthstone and Teamfight Tactics – they hang out on vacation until three or four in the morning. They also monitor the League of Legends transfer market and rate players. Evelina loves Faker – probably the most famous lohler in the world.
The Aliyevs are watching Dota 2, but great love did not happen only because there was no one to explain the subtleties of the game, but even grandparents began to watch League of Legends.
Esports got Evelina so interested that she combined her scientific activities and her hobbies. At the institute, they conducted a study and found out that students who love Dota 2, League of Legends and other games, the right and left hemispheres are developing faster, right-brain creativity awakens. Aliyeva also collaborates with the Institute of Physical Education: the university’s department has a special program called “Mom, the back of the head and the computer” to educate parents who are in conflict with children due to excessive PC enthusiasm.
Vitaly Aliyev believes that it is necessary to work with young parents and to educate in them the idea that e-sports is another good profession.
Evelina also addressed the topic of inclusion: “This is just a special scope for activity. Paralympic games are good, but playing online and becoming equal champions is now possible. ”. Esports, in her opinion, opens up horizons for children with health problems and mobility.
In addition to her basic education at the Polytechnic University, Evelina graduated from the psychology faculty of Moscow State University – in e-sports she studied toxicity issues, and also drew attention to issues of discipline and self-control, since players usually do not require any reporting on personal training. They had a long conversation with teammates Faik and Emil and discussed the conflicts that arose within the team.
The family hopes that in the CIS all e-sports disciplines will develop very rapidly. And then, perhaps, we will hear from young parents: “I want my child to grow up as an e-sportsman or soccer player.”
