According to the announcement Kazunori Yamauchiin the coming 2023 studio Polyphony digital will continue to support car simulator, but now the volume and frequency of updates will be less. Perhaps this suggests that all the main forces of the studio were thrown to the next part of the series for Playstation 5.
In a recent interview, Yamauchi said that one of the priorities in terms of technical development of the series for him is the frame rate. The developer wants Gran Turismo to run at speeds up to 240 FPS.
Next week, GT Sport will receive the next free update, with which three new cars will be added to the game: Fiat 500, Nissan 180SX and Aston Martin DBR9.
Update coming next week. This year’s updates are modest in frequency and volume.
