In 2018, the studio Riot games turned out to be accused of a sexism case. Then employees Jessica Negron and Melanie McCracken sued the company because of gender discrimination, demanding fair salaries and monetary compensation.
Two California institutions joined the case: the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Department of Compliance with Labor Standards. The plaintiffs are now represented by women’s rights lawyer Gene Harrison: she had previously been involved in the Weinstein case.

So far, the date for the start of the trial has not been set. It is worth noting that the creators League of Legends owned by a chinese company Tencentwhose market capitalization exceeds $ 500 billion.
