Enthusiast under the nickname Stayd, a professional artist, is working on a modification for Dark souls 2 from Fromsoftware, designed to improve lighting in role-playing action. To demonstrate the changes that fans are waiting for after installing the add-in, the modder posted several comparative screenshots.
Previously, information appeared on the network that the pre-release version of Dark Souls 2 used a more advanced lighting model, but due to the fact that it was not supported by the previous generation consoles, the developers decided to replace it. Unfortunately, the PC version also affected this graphic degradation.
When creating the mod, Stayd took as a basis the features of the re-release of Scholar of the First Sin.
The release dates of the graphic mod for Dark Souls 2 have not yet been announced.
