Amazon studios finally announced the main cast of the series on The Lord of the Rings. It includes Charlie Wickers, Daniel Weiman, Dylan Smith, Ema Horvath, Ismael Cruz Cordoba, Joseph Mole, Markella Caven, Megan Richards, Morved Clark, Nazanin Boniadi, Owain Arthur, Robert Aramayo, Sofia Nomvete, Tom Budge and Tyro Muhafidin.
Unfortunately, Amazon Studios did not disclose who exactly these actors will play. In addition, the head of the television direction of the company Vernon Sanders said that the authors of the show have yet to select actors for several key roles.
Last November, Amazon Studios CEO Jennifer Salke confirmed that the company is already working on the second season of The Lord of the Rings. It is expected that the events of the show will unfold in the Second era of Middle-earth, and the director will deliver the first two episodes “Jurassic World 2” Juan Antonio Bayonne.
The scriptwriting team, which includes Jennifer Hutchinson (“Breaking bad”), Jason Cahill (“Clan Soprano”), Helen Shan (Hannibal), Justin Dobble (“Very strange things”) and Brian Cogman (“Game of Thrones”), run by show runners and executive producers of the series John D. Payne and Patrick Mackay.
