Video cards will be in short supply all of 2023 – NVIDIA presented financial report for the second quarter

NVIDIA reported its second quarter fiscal 2023 profit, posting a record $ 6.51 billion in revenue, up 68% from last year.

The period for the company turned out to be extremely successful: revenues of the gaming division grew by 85%, bringing NVIDIA $ 3.06 billion; solutions for data centers were marked by an increase of 35% and the amount of 2.37 billion; net income was 2.37 billion on a whopping 282% year-on-year growth.

Graphics accelerators based on Ampere architecture have become the best-selling product in the entire history of the segment. At the same time, more than 80% of deliveries fell on the share of devices with an underestimated LHR hash rate.

NVIDIA believes that the shortage of video cards will continue throughout 2023. In the third quarter, the company plans to partner with TSMC, Samsung and other suppliers to increase revenue to $ 6.80 billion.
