Company Sony Interactive Entertainment has registered a patent for a system that allows the use of the unique tactile vibration of the gamepad DualSense not only directly during the game, but also when watching streams or videos. The site drew attention to the document SegmentNext

According to the description of the system, the essence of the idea is that vibration DualSense at the program level, it will be able to be activated in certain segments of the video (or live broadcast), thus complementing the experience of viewers from watching content

At the same time, the patent also mentions that only one DualSense the idea does not apply – Sony clarifies that a similar system can be used in “simulation headsets“, probably referring to the next version of the VR headset for the console Playstation 5
