Torment is working on the role-playing game Broken Roads – review

Australian studio Drop bear bytes announced that Colin McComb, a writer and game designer who had previously worked for the company, joined the development team Tsr and studios Interplay entertainment, inXile Entertainment, Larian studios and 3lb Games LLC.

McComb will take part in work on an isometric role-playing game Broken roadswhich takes place in post-apocalyptic Australia. He was entrusted with the creation of the setting and the development of the philosophy of the local world.

McComb previously worked on cult games Fallout 2 and Planescape: torment, and Torment: tides of numenera and Wasteland 2.

At Broken Roads, we have to manage a squad of six survivors in a harsh world, completely painted by hand. Players will face many difficult choices. But thanks to the moral compass system, there will be no wrong decisions, just the hero’s worldview will change, which will affect his behavior in battle.

Broken Roads will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch no earlier than 2023.
