Tom Clancy’s re-funeral: Ubisoft will shut down servers for four games

Publisher Ubisoft announced that in 2023 the servers of four games that were released under the brand of the writer will be closed Tom Clancy (Tom clancy’s). Information published on the official forum.

The exact date of the overlapping of support for online functionality has not been disclosed. The list includes the following games:

  • Rainbow six vegas on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PS3;
  • Rainbow six vegas 2 on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PS3;
  • Ghost recon future soldier on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3;
  • Rainbow six lockdown on PC, Xbox, PS2 and GameCube.

Interestingly, Vegas 1-2 already had some limited functionality, which prevented players from knocking out all the trophies.

Future Soldier is still available to gamers in full, however, server disconnections may cause problems, as the game has placed a strong emphasis on multiplayer and co-op. In addition, the tactical shooter supported the functionality Ubisoft Connect and in-game rewards that will become unavailable after support ends.

Earlier it was announced that in 2023 the online functionality of several more games will be disabled:

  • Assassin’s Creed II on PC – from June 1, 2023;
  • Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands on PC – from June 1, 2023;
  • Far cry 2 on PC – from June 1, 2023;
  • Anno 1404 on PC – from June 1, 2023;
  • Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes on PC – from June 1, 2023;
  • Splinter Cell: Conviction on PC – from June 1, 2023;
  • The Settlers 7 on PC – from June 1, 2023;
  • Might & Magic X Legacy on PC – from June 1, 2023.
