This year WWE 2K simulator will replace Saber Interactive arcade brawler – review

2K Games announces arcade brol WWE 2K Battlegrounds, which this year will replace the numbering simulator WWE 2K.

The project is engaged in Saber interactivewho had previously worked with 2K on the arcade basketball series Nba playgrounds. In a novelty of wrestling fans, a roster of real personalities awaits, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena.

Visually, the game is made in a cartoon style, which will seriously affect the gameplay – arenas will become much more exotic, as well as the ability to deal with an opponent. For example, in the debut trailer, “The Rock” throws Sina off the platform right in the teeth of an alligator.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds will be released at the end of the year. On which platforms is unknown. Most likely on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, as well as on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

At the same time, the new WWE 2K developers from Visual Concepts got extra time to release a quality game in 2023. In addition, the studio will continue to update WWE 2K20 and support WWE 2K19 servers.
