The Producers Guild for years refuses to accept Vin Diesel into its ranks

The other day Vin Diesel left in his Instagram strange post regarding “war” with Producers Guild of America – as it turned out, the actor has been trying for many years to get their approval.

The guild badge officially demonstrates a major producer contribution to a particular project. In the case of a diesel engine, this is a franchise. The Fast and the Furious.

The most important function of such a sign is the ability to receive “Oscar” as a producer in the nomination “Best Picture”. Also marking the guild opens the way to additional financial bonuses, including those related to receiving awards.

Diesel tried to join the ranks of the guild producers on almost every part of Fast and the Furious, but he was always refused, causing the actor more and more hatred.

The diesel engine even tried to get the studio involved. Universalalthough in reality he is the main engine of the conflict. The actor also wanted to push the guild members to the desired solution, using different connections with influential friends, but nothing came of it either.

According to sources familiar with the production of Fast and Furious, many see Diesel only as a star, but not as a producer. This status is also confirmed by his behavior, when he can appear on the site a few hours after the start of filming an expensive scene and stuff like that.

The actor’s request will remain relevant for the new part of Fast and the Furious, which will be released next year.
