The Elder Scrolls Online will speak in Russian on May 26

At the beginning of the year the publishing house Bethesda softworks and studio ZeniMax Online announced that in an online role-playing game The elder scrolls online another official language will appear – Russian. And now they have confirmed that this will happen simultaneously with the release of the add-on “Greymour“.
After installing the free update 26, PC players will be able to continue their adventures, but now in Russian. All game texts have been translated, and the dialogs and videos are subtitled. At the same time, localization is included in the base game, and access to it does not depend on the purchase of the Greymour chapter.
Already, Russian-speaking players can select Russian in the settings of their account in order to immediately switch to it on May 26. In all other respects, the update will not affect the game in any way: you can continue on the same servers and, if you wish, prefer a different language – English, French or German.
So far, Russian localization for console versions has not been announced: the head of “Greymour” is released on June 9th. But PC players will be able to use their native language in the future, all updates and additions will be translated. The official website is also in the process of translation.
It is worth noting that for users of amateur localization Rueso only the process of including the Russian language will be simplified. For six years, enthusiasts have been working on a full translation with the support of the authors of the game. But now this project is closing.
