The director of “Batman” and the scriptwriter of the “Clan Soprano” create a series about the cops of Gotham

Director of the new Batman Matt Reeves and screenwriter Terence Winter (Clan Soprano, “Boardwalk Empire”) are working on a series about the law enforcement forces of Gotham.

His action will unfold in the same universe with the upcoming “Batman”, and he himself, apparently, will go on HBO Max. It is possible that the role of commissioner Gordon will return and Jeffrey Wrightwho plays him in a picture of Reeves. In theory, the light can glance at Robert Pattison.

Winter himself will act as a showrunner of the procedure – he has no name yet, although the idea resembles a series of comics Gotham Police (Gotham Central) and the recent series Gotham.

Premiere of the new Batman in the meantime will be held on September 30, 2023.
