The largest exhibition of computer games “IgroMir 2023“will pass from October 1-4, 2023 at the Moscow Exhibition Center “Crocus Expo“. The event will take place simultaneously with the seventh festival of pop culture Comic con russia.
In 2019, the event was attended by more 183.000 human. Such companies as IgroMir 2019 took part Blizzard entertainment, ASUS Republic of Gamers, CD Projekt RED, Gigabyte, Kojima productions, Microsoft, Thq nordic, Lenovo Legion, Warner bros Interactive Entertainment, Bandai namco, Vivo, Kaspersky, M.GAME, BEECH and many others.
Special guests of the Igromir 2019 exhibition of the year are the famous game developer Hideo Kojima, creator of the cult series Metal gear and games Death stranding, and the American science fiction writer Christy Goldenknown worldwide for her work on the universe World of warcraft.
In 2023, the IgroMir exhibition will be held for the fifteenth time. Visitors to the event will be able to get acquainted with the best industry news, take part in gaming tournaments and receive exclusive prizes.
Lovers of pop culture await a lot of interesting things. Last year, more than 200 participating companies, including WDSSPR, UPI and “20th Century Fox CIS“, presented the guests of Comic Con Russia the most high-profile news from the world of cinema, comics and games, and in the festival’s shopping area there are more than 110 stores with souvenirs and fan paraphernalia.
For the six-year history of the festival Comic Con Russia was attended by stars such as Nathan Fillion (“Castle“), Misha Collins (“Supernatural“), Alfie Allen (“Game of Thrones“), Rutger Hauer (“Blade runner“), Christopher Lloyd (“Back to the Future“), Danny Trejo (“Machete“), M. Night Shyamalan (“Sixth Sense“,”Glass“) and many others. In 2019, the special guests of the event were actors Mads Mikkelsen (“Hannibal“,”Dr. Strange“) and Andrew Scott (“Sherlock“,”Trash“).
In 2023, within the framework of Comic Con Russia, traditionally held exclusive presentations, panels with stars and special film screenings. Actors of popular films and TV shows will chat with their fans and take part in photo and autograph sessions, and the creators of iconic comics and famous contemporary artists and illustrators will be invited guests of the “Authors Avenue” at Comic Con Russia.
