The creator of popular mods for Skyrim will remove his work from Nexus Mods

Creator of popular mods for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, known as Arthmoor, is about to remove his work from the site Nexus mods… His decision was a response to the site’s new policy.

Earlier, the administration announced that users who upload their files to the site will no longer be able to delete them. The old rules prevent the compilation of “Collections” – a new feature that is planned to be added to Nexus Mods in the future.

Some modders were unhappy with this move: they decided to use the rule about the possible removal of content by submitting an application before August 5. One of them was Arthmoor – the author of such major modifications as Alternate Start – Live Another Life, Cutting Room Floor, Run For Your Lives, The Paarthurnax Dilemma, Open Cities and many others.

In addition to Skyrim, Arthmoor worked on Oblivion with Morrowind – the author also wants to remove mods for these games. His group projects to create unofficial patches for Skyrim and Fallout 4 will not be touched.

Fans of the modder’s creativity should not worry: the files can be downloaded from the AFK Mods website, which does not share the policy of Nexus Mods.
