Publisher Eastasiasoft announced that the western release of the action RPG Xuan-Yuan Sword VIIdeveloped by the studios Softstar Entertainment, DOMO Studio and Yooreka Studio, will take place on Playstation 4 and Xbox one already this summer. In addition, the company Maximum Games will publish physical copies of the game in Europe and North America.
Like the PC version released last year, console releases will receive a text translation into Russian.
“The Xuan-Yuan Sword series is an important part of the Chinese video game industry, but unfortunately it took a long time to reach the western shores,” said Joshua M. French, manager of Eastasiasoft. “We’re aiming to fix that with Xuan-Yuan Sword 7, which we believe will be the perfect starting point for any RPG fan, especially those with an interest in anthropology and mythology.”
In a new project from Chinese developers, players will take on the role of a swordsman named Taishi Zhao, seeking to protect his family and find the truth, embarking on a journey through a world that has fallen into chaos.
