The authors of Rune II took up the remake of the story – review

Shortly after the Lazarus update for Rune ii, which redesigned the combat system and the player’s progress, and also added to the game the villages and their inhabitants, the developers of the role-playing action movie from the company Ragnarok game tackled the alteration of the story.

The first part of the patch is already available on test servers. A reworked first chapter entitled Age of Awakening with a new plot and quests was added to the game, and the progress of the so-called Ages of Ragnarok was made linear.

Now each milestone will contain different bosses (while they are still Loki) who need to be defeated in order to move forward. To pass Rune II, players have to defeat Loki in the final.

In addition, the developers added to the game many quests of the main storyline and many side quests. New tasks can be discovered by talking with villagers and exploring the world of the game.

Finally, the authors revised the training, changed the revival system, redid all the buildings (now they can be destroyed), added a pause while the player is in the inventory or is studying the map, and also made many other improvements and corrections.

A complete list of changes can be found here.
