Microsoft Flight Simulator will get VR support with a free update coming later this year. However, the game will initially only support the HP Reverb G2 helmet. Compatibility with other devices will come later.

The developers position Microsoft Flight Simulator as a constantly changing and evolving platform. This is why the game will receive free updates regularly. They will be released every month and will alternately make changes to the game world and the simulation.

Paid DLC, in turn, will contain major innovations, and they plan to release them every 2-3 months. The first paid add-on will add helicopters, helipads, missions and more to Microsoft Flight Simulator.

In the future, the authors plan to add a shared cockpit for multiplayer, which will allow players to fly one plane, as well as new weather conditions and climate systems, including ice, snow acclimatization and animal behavior.

Finally, it is already known that Microsoft Flight Simulator will be released on August 18 on PC, but the release will take place not only in Microsoft Store, as previously reported, but also in Steam… The game page has already appeared in the store Valve
