SuperData: Animal Crossing: New Horizons has the largest digital launch in console game history – more powerful than Call of Duty

According to estimates of the analytical company Superdata, in March users Nintendo switch bought 5,000,000 copies Animal Crossing: New Horizons at the eShop store. This is the largest digital launch in the history of console games – it surpasses the starts of all multi-platform blockbusters. The previous record, according to SuperData, belonged to Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII.
