The release of one of the most anticipated games of this year, the sequel to the cult platformer is approaching Psychonauts… And a whole volley of materials about Psychonauts 2: previews, interviews, walkthrough recordings.
For starters, the company Double Fine Productions published a story trailer for the project. In the game, our old friend Razputin Aquato is no longer a schoolboy. He started working for the international organization of psychic espionage “Psychonauts”, but from the very beginning things did not go very smoothly. New villains come into play, the only strangeness is that some of them have long been dead.
Almost eighteen minutes of gameplay posted on the channel Game Informer… The recording shows fragments of the demo: Razputin overcomes a variety of obstacles, fights against fantastic monsters, collects bonuses and tokens of his own memories.
At the first level, our hero finds himself in a kind of dental nightmare. Then he will have a journey through an insane cooking show and a lot of adventures in a vast store of knowledge.
I put a lot of possible plot points into the first game. Then they were a little suspended in the air. If we didn’t have the opportunity to make a sequel, the understatement would not be a tragedy, but how nice it is to pick up all these plot tails in the sequel, expand and finally complete as expected.

Psychonauts 2 will be released on August 25 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (backward compatible). On the day of release, the game will be available in Xbox Game Pass…
